VETFID was built on more than a decade of military leadership, financial stewardship, and hands-on fiduciary experience. Founded through a collaboration between two retired U.S. Army Sergeants Major and the next generation of their family, VETFID carries forward a mission that began in Oregon more than a decade ago.
The original fiduciary partnership—established at the request of legal professionals seeking trustworthy financial management support— was later approved by the Department of Veterans Affairs to serve veterans who required daily financial, housing, and personal-needs oversight. Between 2012 and 2025, the original program has successfully assisted numerous beneficiaries, ensuring their bills, debts, budgets, and essential needs were handled with transparency, accuracy, and compassion.
As demand for services grew, the need for additional trusted fiduciaries became clear. In response, VETFID was established to provide collaborative, reliable, ethical, veteran-focused financial management service to those who can no longer manage their own affairs independently.
Today, VETFID offers structured budgeting, secure account management, housing and bill-pay support, debt coordination, and ongoing communication with caregivers and VA representatives—all grounded in a proven operational model and decades of senior-level military, HR, and regulatory expertise.
